Bladi Collection

Bladi

From Moroccan Arabic (Darija) · “my land”

For a long time I didn't know which was my land. When you're a daughter of two worlds, you grow up in a silent limbo.

The limbo

When you're a daughter of two worlds, you grow up in a silent limbo. Not quite there, not quite here. You wonder where you belong. If you belong. Is your land the one where you were born, or the one that raised you? Are your roots in the scent of spices from a Moroccan kitchen, or in the sound of a language learned to survive?

The discovery

Then, as you grow, something happens. You stop looking for just one place. And you understand that belonging to everything isn't a lack, a form of freedom. That being a daughter of the world doesn't make you rootless. It makes you able to carry the world with you, wherever you go.

Bladi was born from this. From the conflicting feeling of living between two cultures without fully belonging to either, and from the discovery that this tension, instead of dividing you, can become the most precious thing you have. Your raw material. Your truest identity.

Every jewel bag in this collection carries that journey within it. Roots and distance. Morocco and Italy. The search for one's place in the world. The past and the present. Not to be owned. To be passed down.
