Saray Ancestral Handmades

Art pieces. Not to be owned. To be passed down. Limited, unrepeatable pieces, designed to make whoever chooses them feel exactly what they are: someone who recognises the value of rare things. Not just any object. An object to be passed down. This is not fast fashion. It is memory worn on the body. It is an act of belonging to one's own land, one's own roots, one's own idea of beauty. This is the gesture that saved me. Now I place it in your hands.

Bladi

Bladi comes from Moroccan Arabic (Darija). It means “my land”. Every jewel bag in this collection carries that journey within it. Roots and distance. Morocco and Italy. The search for one's place in the world. The past and the present. Not to be owned. To be passed down.

A gesture that carries memory

The weaving, the experimentation, the natural dyeing, the knots, the textures. My hands moved while my mind was still trying to figure out where it was going. The weaving stopped being an experiment. It became a breath. My hands knew what to do, and my mind, for the first time, stopped racing. Every knot was a present moment. Every gesture, a conscious choice.

Medina

Medina is the collection of the journey. Not the journey as escape, but the journey as discovery. Of oneself, of others, of what the world has to offer to those who know how to stop and look. Small chests of rediscovered worlds. To carry with you. So as not to forget where you come from and everything you met along the way.

Vision

I recognise myself in my hands. In the material. In the moment a weave stops being technique and becomes language. When the fabric starts to speak, and you listen. I am a Textile Artist. Every piece I create is born from this awareness: that matter has memory, that gesture has meaning, and that the time spent making something unique is never time lost. It is the time that makes it irreplaceable.

The designer

I was born in Morocco and raised in Italy. I have lived my whole life with two languages in my mouth, two colours in my eyes, two ways of feeling beauty. For a long time I believed this duality was a distance. Then I began to weave. And I understood that it was, instead, my raw material.
